These terms of use set the rules for accessing and using the Maison Tavelle website. By using the site, you confirm that you have read them. Purchases are also subject to our Terms of Sale and to the law in force.

1. Use of the website

The site lets you browse our products and buy them online. You agree to use it lawfully and not to harm its operation, security or integrity. In particular, you must not:

  • use the site for fraudulent or illegal purposes;
  • try to access the site's systems or data without permission;
  • deliberately disrupt the services offered;
  • use the site in a way that infringes the rights of Maison Tavelle or of others.

2. Product information

We aim to describe our products as accurately as possible: characteristics, photos, prices and availability. Small differences may appear depending on your screen settings. Manufacturer labels, packaging and documents should be followed when using a product. Product descriptions do not limit your statutory rights.

3. Prices

The prices that apply are those shown when you confirm your order, except for obvious errors and subject to the law. Taxes, any extra charges and delivery costs are shown before you confirm your order. A price change does not affect orders already placed.

4. Product availability

Products are offered while stocks last. If a product becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you and act in line with the law, including a refund where one is due.

5. Orders and payment

You must give accurate, complete and up-to-date information when ordering, in particular your identity, delivery address and contact details. You receive an order confirmation by email. Payment is made with the methods offered at checkout. We may take the measures allowed by law if we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised use of a payment method. Nothing in this section limits your mandatory consumer rights.

6. Delivery

We deliver to mainland France and the United Kingdom under the conditions set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery costs, delivery times and tracking are shown before you confirm your order.

7. Returns and refunds

Return, exchange and refund conditions are set out in our Refund Policy. Consumers keep their statutory rights, including the 14-day right to cancel and the legal guarantees.

8. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the original content of the site is protected by intellectual property law. Reproducing or using it without permission, where permission is required, is prohibited. Trade marks, logos, photos and content belonging to manufacturers or third parties remain their owners' property.

9. Liability and availability of the website

We do our best to keep the site working and available. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, security or reasons beyond our control. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for interruptions or technical problems caused by factors outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, or removes your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Personal data

Using the site may involve processing personal data needed for the site, orders, delivery and customer service. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site, our services or the law. The version published on the site shows its last update date.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence. If there is a problem, please contact our customer service first. Consumers may also use the consumer mediation available to them and bring a claim before the competent courts. Customers in the United Kingdom may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live.
